The headset should be plugged into the Headset jack on the NEC Aspirephone.  You will need a headset function button on the phone as well (If you don’t know how to program a headset button contact your phone system administrator). 

• To place a call press the headset button and then a line button (or dial 9) then dial your number
• To place an intercom call press the headset button and then press the hotline key (or dial the extension).
• To transfer a call while using the headset press the hotline button for the extension you want to transfer the call to then press the headset button.  If you don’t have a hotline button you can press the HOLD button and then dial the extension number for that person followed by the headset button.
• To release a call while on the headset press the headset button on your aspirephone.
